Dr. Yunfei Chen,
Editor for the IEEE Wireless Communications Letters, 2011 - 2014, Reviewer for major journals, publishers and funding bodies inside and outside the UK, Editor for the IEEE Communications Letters, 2009 - 2012,Senior Member of IEEE.
Dr. Yunfei Chen received his Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Engineering degrees from Shanghai Jiaotong University in 1998 and 2001, respectively, both in electronic engineering. He received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Alberta in Canada in 2006. From 2006 to 2007, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the iCORE wireless communications laboratory. From 2007 he worked as an Assistant Professor and then an Associate Professor in the School of Engineering, University of Warwick in the UK. His research interests include wireless system analysis and design, cognitive radios, wireless relaying and sensing, energy harvesting. He served as the Associate Editor of Performance Analysis and Cognitive Radio for the IEEE Transactions on Communications between 2012 and 2014, the Editor for the IEEE Wireless Communications Letters between 2011 and 2014 and for the IEEE Communications Letters between 2009 and 2012. He has authored nearly 200 research papers in peer-reviewed journals and has two US patents. He is a regular reviewer for journals, conferences and funding bodies around the world.
报告内容简介:
a). In wireless communications, power cable is the last wire that needs to be attached to a wireless device. In this talk, wireless power in terms of RF energy harvesting will be discussed that aims to replace the last power cable with energy harvester to achieve ultimate wireless. This includes RF energy harvester design issues, energy modelling issues, energy harvesting relaying and energy harvesting channel estimation;
b).Discussion in "How to write IEEE Transpaper".
